How to extend metal table legs?

If you have metal table legs that are too short, there are a few ways that you can extend them. One way is to add wood blocks to the top of the legs. Another way is to attach metal extenders to the legs. And yet another way is to build up the legs with welded metal.
If you want to add wood blocks to the top of the legs, start by measuring the height that you want the blocks to be. Cut the blocks to size, and then predrill holes into them. Next, predrill holes into the top of the metal legs. Finally, use screws to attach the blocks to the legs.
If you want to attach metal extenders to the legs, start by measuring the height that you want the extenders to be. Cut the extenders to size, and then predrill holes into them. Next, predrill holes into the sides of the metal legs. Finally, use bolts to attach the extenders to the legs.
If you want to build up the legs with welded metal, start by measuring the height that you want the legs to be. Cut pieces of metal to size, and then weld them together. Next, weld the pieces to the legs. Finally, grind down the welds so that they are flush with the legs.
