Wanted to point out an important design bonus for the new coffee river table base. Each corner has four holes allowing for each side to independently support a slab of wood. So say if you wanted to run a piece of glass down the center (routing out the wood edges to countersink the glass) of two slabs, you can do this without interfering with the center. A flawless flow. 
The trestle will also be made to custom lengths. The base is hefty, overbuilt.  🌞 

Sturdy and beefy. The center bar can be made up to seven feet long. It works as a bench or coffee table. 

They measure 16 1/4" tall, and 16 1/4" wide. Eight holes for lag screws or inserts allows the end product to be extremely tight, no wobble. The base is heavy for it's size. depending on the length of the bar, the average weight is 50 pounds!
